Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or compact licensure as applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment required
• Experience using Cerner is required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with an 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Must be comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed
• Strong critical care skills and confidence working in IMC and ICU environments
• Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to ICU and IMC patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses
• Monitor and manage telemetry, dysrhythmias, and critical care interventions
• Provide care for patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy support
• Administer and manage non-titratable drips, oxygen therapy, HFNC, and other advanced respiratory support
• Support dialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients as needed
• Perform IV management, line care, wound care, and other essential bedside nursing duties
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with rapid response and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and uphold safe, compassionate patient care standards
• Adapt to float assignments and provide dependable support across multiple units
