• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Shift Schedule: 4x10 days, typically 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with flexibility expected
• Call: 2 weekdays and 1 weekend call per 6-week period
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Setting: Ambulatory surgery operating room with potential float to the main OR

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience required
• Travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers with relevant OR experience may be considered
• Active Washington RN license or compact RN license in hand at submission
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Pediatric OR experience required
• Strong experience circulating general surgery, gynecology, breast surgery, ENT, and urology cases
• Ability to work a flexible day shift schedule and participate in call coverage
• Comfortable supporting both inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
• Ability to adapt quickly, collaborate with the surgical team, and deliver safe perioperative care

Responsibilities

• Circulate a variety of surgical cases in an ambulatory surgery operating room
• Support procedures across general surgery, GYN, breast, ENT, urology, orthopedic, and pediatric services
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered operating room workflow
• Assist with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op coordination as needed
• Perform specialized perioperative tasks, including blood and blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation support, and use of warming/cooling blankets, drains, syringe pumps, and wound vacs
• Float to the main OR when needed and provide dependable support to the broader surgical team
• Respond to call requirements and help ensure smooth weekday and weekend coverage
