Overview
This travel nursing opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with telemetry experience and a strong interest in neurology and stroke care. You’ll be part of a busy, team-oriented unit where strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and comfort with telemetry monitoring are essential. Epic experience is required, and nurses who thrive in a patient-centered, high-acuity setting will excel in this role.

- Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse

- Location: Spokane, Washington
- Setting: Acute care neuro-telemetry unit
- Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960–$2,070
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May float to meet unit needs
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Charting System: Epic
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
- Neuro experience strongly preferred; familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is important
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience caring for neuro, stroke, and telemetry patients
- Comfort managing dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
- Epic experience required
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and support unit needs through floating
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to neuroscience and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform ongoing assessments and support patients with neurologic and neurosurgical diagnoses
- Utilize the NIH Stroke Scale and other neuro assessment tools as part of routine care
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support treatment plans
- Administer medications and interventions in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Support a culture of teamwork, safety, and high-quality patient care
