• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule Options: 3x12 or 4x12 accepted
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Average Daily Census: 130
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: As scheduled
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Floating: Required within specialty
• Call: Not required
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI required
• Strong skills in fast-paced, high-acuity emergency nursing
• Comfort working with patients across all age groups
• Ability to float within scope and adapt to changing patient needs
• Flu vaccination required
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support timely, high-quality care
• Manage patient flow in a high-volume environment while maintaining strong clinical judgment
• Support care for patients experiencing respiratory, cardiac, neurological, behavioral health, and trauma-related concerns
• Document accurately in the electronic health record and follow department protocols
• Respond effectively to changing priorities and urgent situations throughout the shift
