Travel Nurse Job Details

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license by the start date
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience
- Level I trauma experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certification
- ENPC preferred
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Ability to manage dysrhythmias and work in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Willingness to float to pediatric emergency care as needed
Emergency Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide skilled emergency nursing care to adult, pediatric, geriatric, and adolescent patients
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a busy emergency department environment
- Respond effectively to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and other high-acuity presentations
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as clinically indicated
- Support procedural sedation, blood product administration, and critical care-level monitoring when needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver timely, patient-centered care
- Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
- Maintain readiness for fast-changing patient volumes and acuity levels
