Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting
• Active Wyoming RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical assessment, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to care for adult patients and, on occasion, pediatric or adolescent patients
• Comfortable floating between nearby campuses based on census needs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions and treatment responses
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-treatment home care
• Monitor vital signs, document patient information, and maintain accurate clinical records
• Assist with wound care, IV starts, catheter insertion, and other bedside procedures
• Support pre- and post-surgical patients as needed
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and take appropriate corrective action
• Participate in discharge planning and promote continuity of care
