• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Special Scheduling: May consider straight 48s or 36/48 alternating
• Travel Note: Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted

Job Requirements

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in Med/Surg Tele, telemetry, or a similar acute care setting
• Cerner experience preferred
• Willingness to float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as assigned
• Flu vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions/declinations allowed
• RTO must be submitted with application
• Resume required with submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care to Med/Surg Tele and stroke patients
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced acute care inpatient environment
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely
• Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as needed
• Support unit workflow and contribute to a strong team-based care environment
