Job Details

• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Conroe, TX 77304
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4
• Charting System: Meditech EMR

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred in acute care, emergency medicine, or a similar high-acuity setting
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Strong critical thinking, compassion, and team-focused communication skills
• Comfort working in a dynamic, high-volume Emergency Department
• Experience with emergency nursing equipment, protocols, and patient stabilization preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients with varying levels of acuity
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, and other essential ER nursing procedures
• Assist with moderate sedation and rapid-response interventions as needed
• Support treatment for complex and urgent cases using established emergency department protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and fellow registered nurses to deliver efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support seamless use of the Meditech EMR
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
