• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN

• Location: Richmond, Virginia 23226
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Schedule: Nights, with every other weekend and major holiday rotation required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license required
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Conscious sedation experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• CPI / de-escalation training required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated, evidence-based nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop prioritized plans of care
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with clinical policies and standards
• Support patients of all ages presenting with medical, traumatic, and urgent care needs
• Assist with stabilization, triage, crisis intervention, and emergency response
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote timely, high-quality patient care
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans based on outcomes and changes in condition
• Maintain a calm, compassionate, and professional presence during critical situations
• Promote patient safety, privacy, and infection control practices at all times
