• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Schedule Note: Every-other-weekend coverage required; willingness to float to nearby campuses as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous ICU nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Valid state RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with electronic charting systems required; Epic experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in dysrhythmia management, arterial line management, central line care, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator care, suctioning, and isolation precautions
• Ability to float to other campuses when needed
• Must be able to return within 1 hour if placed on call

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and manage drips according to facility protocols
• Support ventilated patients and operate advanced respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and clinical standards
• Adapt to unit needs, including floating between campuses when census changes
