Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred/required per unit expectations
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the same specialty from the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Must have all required certifications active and available at submission
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements apply, with only medical or religious exemptions accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical/surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, efficient patient care
• Document patient care accurately and maintain strong clinical communication
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional bedside care
• Adapt to night shift workflow while maintaining quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence
