• Position: CVOR Registered Nurse / Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Columbus, OH 43205
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weeknights per week
• Orientation: 30 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
• Additional Notes: Flexibility to float may be required depending on assignment needs

Job Requirements

• 2 years of CVOR experience required
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Experience in adult or pediatric CVOR accepted
• Active RN license required; compact license accepted where applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room workflows, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing standards
• Experience with congenital heart disease cases preferred

Responsibilities

• Support pediatric cardiovascular operating room procedures with a focus on safe, high-quality patient care
• Assist with induction, intraoperative monitoring, and surgical readiness
• Prepare and manage equipment, instruments, and supplies for complex cardiac surgery cases
• Participate in procedures such as congenital heart repairs, valve procedures, and ECMO-related support
• Perform specimen handling, labeling, and documentation in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, universal protocol, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure efficient OR flow
• Be prepared to float as needed based on assignment priorities
