- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 - $1,930
- Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Charting System: EPIC
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI required
- Strong experience with ED triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, and procedural sedation
- Comfortable caring for ventilated patients, trauma cases, psych holds, and pediatric emergencies
- Preferred experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified emergency department
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume emergency room environment with a patient ratio of 1:3.5
- Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting
- Perform triage and prioritize care for patients with a wide range of acute and critical needs
- Interpret dysrhythmias and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Administer emergency medications and support procedural sedation monitoring
- Care for patients requiring IV therapy, blood products, central line support, and ventilator management
- Provide skilled care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health presentations
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, interpretation services, and unit support staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC electronic health records
- Adapt to float needs and contribute to a team-focused emergency care environment
