Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with DaVinci Xi Robot required
• Experience with liver transplant required
• Proficiency in at least one of the following service lines: Neuro or Ortho
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a high-acuity surgical setting
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Willingness to comply with credentialing and fingerprinting timelines

Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room setting
• Support a wide range of surgical procedures, including general surgery, robotics, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, spine, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, burns, urology, gynecology, and transplant
• Scrub and circulate for complex surgical cases as assigned
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team to maintain safe, efficient workflow
• Float to different units within the organization as needed
• Maintain sterile technique and follow all facility protocols and safety standards
• Adapt quickly to changing case needs in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment
• Support excellent patient outcomes through precision, professionalism, and teamwork
