• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience with Antepartum, Intrapartum, and Postpartum care preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP certifications
• Comfort working with Centricity charting system
• Ability to float to Med/Surg and take an assignment when needed
• Willingness to work 3 of the 5 winter holidays
• Travel-ready and adaptable to a fast-paced patient care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to mothers and newborns in Labor & Delivery
• Support antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum couplet care
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and recovery care
• Monitor fetal status and respond to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Administer and manage medications, IV therapy, and obstetric interventions as ordered
• Educate patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Document accurately in the electronic health record
• Float to Med/Surg and deliver quality care as assigned
