- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 - $1,420
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care or Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Current active RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Strong experience working in an acute care inpatient setting
- Comfortable caring for a variety of medical-surgical patients
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient-focused care skills
- Professional appearance and adherence to unit dress code guidelines
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Administer medications, complete assessments, and document care accurately in the EMR
- Support a patient ratio of approximately 6:1 while maintaining quality care standards
- Assist with common Med/Surg procedures and coordinate care across the unit
- Float to other inpatient Med/Surg units as needed
- Work collaboratively with charge nurses, techs, and support staff to ensure smooth unit operations
