Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mother/Baby, Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery nursing
• NRP certification required
• Experience catching babies in both C-sections and spontaneous vaginal deliveries
• Strong patient-centered mindset with excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a busy, fast-paced acute care team

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality postpartum nursing care and newborn care for couplets
• Support deliveries by assisting with baby catching during C-sections and vaginal births
• Deliver routine postpartum assessments, patient education, and ongoing monitoring
• Assist with circumcision care and select GYN post-op patient needs as assigned
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain safe staffing and positive patient outcomes
• Promote a friendly, self-driven, and supportive atmosphere for families and colleagues
