Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in Dallas, TX 75230 for an experienced high-risk OB nurse seeking a fast-paced Texas nursing job. Join a collaborative, patient-centered Women’s Services team and provide high-quality obstetrical care on 12-hour night shifts in North Dallas.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including high-risk obstetrical care
• Experience in high-volume Labor & Delivery or maternal-fetal care strongly preferred
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
• Experience circulating in C-sections and recovering high-acuity postpartum patients
• Comfort managing vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, and post-delivery recovery care
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and as-needed floating within Women’s Services
• Strong bedside communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetrical patients
• Monitor and assess patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and support C-section procedures
• Deliver circulating support in the operating room for obstetrical cases
• Recover and monitor high-acuity patients following delivery procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to promote safe outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
• Float as needed within related Women’s Services areas
