Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience
• Telemetry interpretation experience required
• Experience in a PCU level of care or higher required
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing higher-acuity patients
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced acute care environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to progressive care patients
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications and manage complex nursing interventions
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, patient care techs, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support patient education, care planning, and discharge preparation
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Respond effectively to evolving patient needs in a busy PCU and telemetry unit environment
