Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience in acute care, LTAC, med-surg, or a similar patient care setting
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience with long-term acute care nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform timely nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient goals and rehabilitation progress
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Initiate discharge planning and patient/family education from admission onward
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members
• Support, train, and supervise ancillary nursing staff as needed
• Promote patient and employee safety through adherence to policies and safe work practices
• Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and reliability
• Use time, supplies, and resources efficiently while delivering high-quality nursing care
