Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
• Location: Springfield, Tennessee 37172
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Start Date: 7/20/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work night shifts in a busy medical-surgical inpatient environment
• Experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, document assessments, and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Coordinate with physicians and care team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families with compassion and professionalism
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies, procedures, and standards
