• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87109
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 1/11/2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36, with an option for 48 hours depending on assignment needs
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,880 - $1,980
• Weekend Requirement: 4-6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
• Orientation: Approximately 36 hours
• First-Time Travelers: Welcome

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to work in New Mexico or a compact license that can be obtained before start
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required; pending certifications may be considered
• Charting system experience required
• Experience supporting antepartum, triage, postpartum, and high-risk obstetrical patients preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and rotate within scope as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and cesarean sections
• Perform fetal monitoring, labor assessments, and obstetrical triage
• Support antepartum care, postpartum recovery, and C-section recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Use clinical judgment to respond to changes in patient condition and provide timely interventions
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to create a positive patient experience
