• Charting System: Cerner preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong experience in general surgery and a wide range of specialty surgical cases preferred
• Experience with Cerner is preferred
• Ability to participate in call rotations and occasional holiday coverage
• Must meet compliance requirements, including required documentation and on-site drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a broad surgical caseload
• Assist with general, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, ENT, and additional specialty procedures
• Support safe patient flow throughout the surgical experience, from preparation through recovery
• Maintain sterile technique, infection control standards, and surgical safety practices
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team to ensure efficient case management
• Respond effectively to call needs and contribute to smooth coverage during scheduled shifts
• Document accurately and support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment
