• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Shift Pattern: Day shifts, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; every other weekend; rotating holidays
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500-$2,630
• Start Date: 10/26/2026

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Previous intravenous therapy experience required
• Current IV experience required
• Proficiency in peripheral line placement for children and newborns within 6 months
• Ability to become proficient in PICC placement within 1 year
• Preferred experience with PICC insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs
• IV Certification (CRNI) within 2.5 years
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Provide nursing care for patients requiring venipuncture and vascular access, including midlines and PICC lines
• Maintain accurate, current patient documentation and support quality improvement efforts
• Communicate assessment findings and care plans to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Serve in a charge nurse role when needed and support unit coordination
• Act as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff teaching
• Follow all safety and blood/body fluid policies and procedures
• Participate in unit meetings, mandatory education, and ongoing professional development
• Promote excellent service for patients, families, visitors, and coworkers
