• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to float within Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed
• Charting System: Epic
• License Status: Pending license accepted; license must be obtained prior to start

Job Requirements

• 2 years of Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license or pending license eligible to complete prior to start
• BLS required
• ACLS strongly preferred
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Comfortable working in a resource pool environment and floating across similar units
• Ability to manage 5-6 patients in a clinical acute care setting
• Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care as a Med/Surg Tele Float Registered Nurse
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient condition, and respond to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to care plans and best practices
• Manage central line care, IV therapy, oxygen administration, and peripheral line maintenance
• Interpret dysrhythmias and support patients with cardiac and medical-surgical diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold unit standards for quality care
• Adapt quickly to floating assignments and changing patient needs across multiple units
