Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining quality care, following the nursing care plan, and supporting patients through every stage of recovery in a long-term acute care hospital (LTAC) setting. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team, provide direct bedside care, and help guide patients and families toward positive outcomes.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Recent ICU experience highly desired
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within the required timeframe and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Support discharge planning and patient education from admission through discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
• Supervise and direct LPNs and CNAs as appropriate
• Promote safety, positive outcomes, and a supportive environment for patients and staff
