- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC
- Employment Type: Travel Contract

- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,050
- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient acuity and unit needs
- Experience with medically complex or rehabilitation-focused patients preferred
LTAC Nursing Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and use findings to guide individualized care planning
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Provide timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates effectively
- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission
- Support rehabilitation goals and encourage patients and families throughout the care journey
- Delegate and supervise ancillary nursing staff appropriately
- Promote a safe, organized, and positive environment for patients, families, and team members
- Maintain communication regarding supply, equipment, and clinical support needs
- Contribute to unit teamwork, quality outcomes, and professional growth
