• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As scheduled
• Floating: Required within specialty as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers may be considered with 5+ years of experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience caring for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients in a high-acuity emergency care setting
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4, and occasionally 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, communication skills, and teamwork in a busy ER environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to emergency patients with medical and traumatic conditions
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with chest pain, stroke, sepsis, respiratory distress, trauma, and other urgent needs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions as clinically indicated
• Support critical procedures including airway management, sedation monitoring, chest tube care, and rapid response interventions
• Monitor patients using advanced emergency department equipment and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication throughout the patient care process
• Float within the specialty as needed and contribute to a positive, team-oriented ER culture
