• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Schedule Type: Block scheduling
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Charting System: Cerner PowerChart

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of telemetry nursing or med-surg cardiac nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Cerner PowerChart experience preferred
• Strong comfort with adult and geriatric patient care
• Experience managing a 5:1 patient ratio in a telemetry setting
• First-time travel nurses may be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to work nights and provide weekend coverage
• Ability to complete onboarding, background review, and pre-start requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications and support treatment plans according to best practices
• Manage common telemetry and med-surg needs, including IV therapy and oxygen support
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner PowerChart
• Respond effectively to patient needs, rapid changes, and unit priorities
• Support a positive, patient-centered environment with professionalism and teamwork
