• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour nights, 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled
• Location: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774
• Floating: Within specialty as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• 3 years of emergency nursing experience required
• Travel RN experience required; first-time travelers may be considered with 5+ years of experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in a high-volume Emergency Department
• Ability to float within scope and work scheduled weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to pediatric and adult patients across a wide range of diagnoses
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with chest pain, stroke, sepsis, trauma, respiratory illness, cardiac arrest, and other urgent conditions
• Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, blood products, and advanced interventions as indicated
• Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond quickly using strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, efficient patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in Epic EMR
• Support trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory emergency workflows with confidence and professionalism
