• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Weekend Requirement: Some weekends required
• Floating: Required within the organization; travelers should be prepared to float as needed
• Call: Required
• Orientation: Provided prior to start
• Employment Type: W2 travel assignment

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Active compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred/required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Comfortable working in a progressive care, stepdown, or PCU environment
• Ability to manage mixed-acuity medical, surgical, and trauma overflow patients
• ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing education preferred
• Two professional references required, including at least one manager, director, or other formal leader

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a mixed-acuity Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patients with chronic medical conditions and complex needs in a hospital acute care setting
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments safely and accurately
• Interpret telemetry rhythms, dysrhythmias, and ABGs as part of ongoing patient surveillance
• Support patients requiring respiratory therapies, wound care, and complex line management
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Float to similar units as needed and adapt quickly to changing patient care needs
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and assist with rapid response situations when needed
