Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Setting: Critical Care Float Pool / ICU
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: 11/16/2026
• End Date: 3/1/2027
• Contract Duration: 15 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend minimum
• Float Requirement: Required to float within ICU and critical care areas based on staffing needs and patient acuity

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working with high-acuity adult patients

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled critical care nursing support across multiple ICU settings
• Float to units such as Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, CVICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics as needed
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition with speed and precision
• Manage ventilators, cardiac drips, telemetry, and complex critical care interventions
• Support patients with advanced monitoring and specialized procedures in a high-acuity environment
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, effective care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and best practices
