Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CVICU nursing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Valid Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS required
• NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC preferred
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Critical care float pool experience preferred
• Experience in a teaching hospital and Trauma Level I facility preferred
• Ability to work rotating weekends and float as needed
• RTO must be submitted at time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity critical care nursing to adult cardiovascular and post-surgical patients
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from CABG, AVR, MVR, and other cardiac surgeries
• Care for patients requiring advanced support, including SWAN monitoring and mechanical devices
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, CVPs, and other invasive monitoring
• Titrate cardiac drips, vasoactive infusions, and sedation protocols as clinically indicated
• Support patients with complex hemodynamic and respiratory needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Adapt to float pool assignments while delivering excellent bedside nursing care
