• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170 - $2,290
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital

• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Sunday through Saturday, with flexible scheduling
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Orientation: 1 week
• Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday coverage required; no call or standby requirement
• Charting System: EPIC
• Floating: Wound care team sees patients across multiple hospital units

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or WOC certification through WOCNCB
• BLS certification from AHA
• At least 1 year of wound care nursing, wound/ostomy nursing, or inpatient wound management experience required
• Strong clinical knowledge of wound vacs, ostomy care, and acute care wound management
• Comfort working collaboratively across multiple units in a hospital setting
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care and ostomy nursing care for patients throughout the hospital
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for wound vac and ostomy patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal healing outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and care teams on wound care best practices and treatment plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in EPIC
• Maintain flexibility to support varying patient needs across units while delivering high-quality patient care
