• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Intermediate Care Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Floating: May float to Med/Surg as needed
• On-Call: Not required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana
• ACLS and BLS required
• At least 1 year of critical care or intermediate care experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, cardiac stepdown or intermediate care environment
• Cerner experience preferred, but not required
• Travel nurses must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Required license and certifications must be submitted with the application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and intermediate care patients
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Manage assignments with patient ratios of approximately 4-5:1
• Support a 30-bed unit in a dynamic, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards
• Adapt to floating assignments when needed
