• Schedule Notes: Call required; floating required

• Setting: High-acuity Labor & Delivery environment

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring class completed and passed
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring and EFM certification preferred
• Experience caring for high-acuity obstetric patients required
• Strong collaboration skills in a team-oriented clinical environment
• Degree accreditation must be on profile, or 5 years of experience is required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status closely in a high-acuity obstetrics setting
• Collaborate with physicians, OB providers, and the care team to support safe deliveries and positive patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic electronic health record (EHR)
• Support unit workflow while adapting to floating assignments as needed
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
• Deliver patient-centered care while serving as an integral member of the Labor & Delivery team
