• Location: Tacoma, WA 98405
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620–$2,760
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel Registered Nurse assignment
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 16, 2027
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; 10-hour day shifts
• Shift Options: Day, night, or overnight schedules may be available based on department needs
• Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Operating Room with 8 operating rooms
• Weekend Rotation: Not required
• On-Call and Holiday Coverage: Optional
• Floating: Not required

Pediatric Operating Room RN Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Registered Nurse experience, including strong Operating Room experience
• Recent experience as a Pediatric Operating Room Nurse
• Ability to circulate pediatric ENT, general, orthopedic, and urology procedures
• Active Washington State or compact Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Circulate a broad range of pediatric surgical procedures in the Operating Room
• Provide safe, compassionate, age-appropriate care to pediatric patients throughout the perioperative experience
• Prepare the operating room, verify supplies and equipment, and maintain a safe sterile environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
• Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and communicate changes promptly
• Support procedures involving pediatric congenital conditions, medical conditions, and injuries
• Follow hospital policies, infection-prevention standards, and pediatric perioperative best practices
