Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,350–$2,470
• Location: Grove City, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Start Date: October 11, 2026
• End Date: January 9, 2027
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• On-Call Requirement: Approximately 14 days per six-week schedule, including two weekends
• Holiday Coverage: Thanksgiving holiday weekend
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Cardiac Cath Lab RN and CVOR Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing and eligibility to practice in Ohio
• At least 1 year of recent experience as a cardiac catheterization lab nurse, CVOR nurse, or Registered Nurse in a closely related cardiovascular procedural setting
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures, sterile technique, patient monitoring, and procedural safety
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts, participate in the on-call rotation, and provide holiday coverage as assigned
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any additional credentials required for the assigned procedural unit
• Ability to complete required clinical competency validation and standard pre-employment screening

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular procedures
• Assess patient condition, review pertinent clinical information, and prepare patients for cardiac procedures
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice while monitoring for changes in patient status
• Assist the cardiac cath lab and CVOR team with sterile preparation, equipment readiness, documentation, and patient safety protocols
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes or complications
• Coordinate care with physicians, anesthesia professionals, surgical staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary cardiovascular team
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and provide clear handoff communication
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and support coverage needs across the cardiovascular care environment
