Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Location: Milton, Massachusetts, near Boston
• Start Date: January 5, 2027
• End Date: February 27, 2027
• Contract Duration: 8-week travel nursing contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract

Med/Surg Tele RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
• At least 2 years of recent acute-care Medical-Surgical nursing experience with telemetry
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent educational preparation
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent experience using Epic electronic health records (EHR)
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Successful completion of required dysrhythmia/ECG and medication assessments before acceptance, with a minimum passing score of 85%
• Availability to begin January 5, 2027, with no more than three days of requested time off

Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
• Assess patient conditions, identify clinical changes, and promptly escalate concerns
• Independently monitor, analyze, and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Complete accurate patient assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, and nursing handoffs using Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing colleagues, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment throughout each shift
