This on-site travel contract is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who is confident caring for medically complex patients and managing telemetry needs across multiple inpatient units. You will join a collaborative nursing float pool and use your clinical expertise in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
Travel RN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600

- Location: On-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts

- Contract Duration: 8 weeks, ending February 27, 2027
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights
- Position Type: Travel nursing contract
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
- At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Strong cardiac telemetry assessment and monitoring skills
- Experience working across multiple inpatient units or in a nursing float pool preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established standards of care
- Perform focused and comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Accurately document patient care and clinical updates in EPIC
- Adapt quickly to the needs of different inpatient units while maintaining consistent, high-quality patient care
- Support safe transitions of care through patient and family education
