Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730–$1,820

• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., including a 30-minute meal break
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call: Not required
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:6, varying according to unit and staffing needs
• Float Assignment: Acute care units assigned by the nursing supervisor based on staffing needs

Telemetry RN Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in a comparable-acuity hospital setting
• Active, unencumbered Tennessee RN license or active compact/multistate RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Previous Cerner EMR experience required
• Ability to provide safe, effective care across a variety of adult acute care specialties
• Two professional references required; references may be pending at submission
• Ability to meet applicable facility compliance requirements, including required annual education and vaccination policies

Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to telemetry and acute care patients across multiple hospital units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and communicate concerns promptly
• Complete patient assessments, medication administration, care planning, clinical documentation, and patient education
• Adapt quickly to changing assignments, patient populations, and unit-specific workflows
• Float to medical, surgical, trauma, observation, oncology, nephrology, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, pulmonary, and cardiac care units as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Follow unit policies, infection-prevention practices, cardiac monitoring standards, and established professional nursing guidelines
