• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

• Healthcare Setting: Trauma Level I intensive care unit

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in New York
• At least 2 years of recent ICU staff nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience caring for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Previous experience in a Trauma Level I setting
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an on-site hospital environment
• Successful completion of a competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Travel ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill trauma, surgical, and neurological patients
• Perform ongoing assessments, recognize changes in patient condition, and initiate timely interventions
• Administer medications and therapies safely according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Manage complex monitoring, equipment, and critical care interventions within the nurse’s scope of practice
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Epic
• Support patient and family education while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Follow hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety practices
