ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,140
• Location: Concord, New Hampshire
• Healthcare Setting: On-site Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 9, 2027
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 2–3 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience; exceptionally strong candidates with approximately 2 years may be considered
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience required
• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license required at the time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC, PALS, and CCRN certifications preferred
• Prior CVICU experience is highly valued
• Previous Cerner electronic medical record experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and provide safe, high-quality care across a variety of critical-care assignments
• Willingness to float to the Emergency Department, stepdown, medical-surgical units with a modified assignment, and potentially behavioral health
• Requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission

Critical Care Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in an intensive care setting
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and initiate timely clinical interventions
• Manage patients requiring advanced critical-care therapies and equipment, including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, and targeted temperature management
• Safely operate Alaris pumps, rapid infusers, and other specialized ICU equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care
• Support a collaborative team environment through clear communication, clinical judgment, and dependable follow-through
