Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710–$1,800
• Location: Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas
• Assignment Type: 13-week ICU travel nursing contract
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• End Date: January 4, 2027
• Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Call Requirement: Yes
• Patient Population: Adult patients, age 18 and older
• Unit: 16-bed intensive care unit with typical 2:1 patient ratios
• Equipment: IV pumps and ventilators
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech
• Additional Expectations: Float assignments may be required
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arkansas
• At least 2 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices and adult patient management
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends as needed, and participate in call coverage
• Flexibility to float to other appropriate clinical areas when needed
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, patient assessment, and teamwork skills

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the intensive care unit
• Assess patient conditions, identify changes in status, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Monitor patients requiring ventilator support, complex therapies, and continuous observation
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Operate and monitor IV pumps, ventilators, and other critical care equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Meditech electronic health record
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care needs
• Support safe patient transitions, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Participate in call coverage and float assignments as required
