Join a collaborative emergency care team as a travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This 13-week assignment offers 36 guaranteed hours per week caring for a diverse patient population in a 25-bed emergency department. Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• End Date: January 4, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710–$1,800
• Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, approximately 1:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.
• Weekend Expectation: Weekend coverage preferred, ideally three weekends per month
• Call: No call requirement
• Department: 25-bed Emergency Department
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5
• Documentation System: Meditech

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arkansas
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or emergency room nursing experience
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• TNCC and NIHSS credentials as required for the assignment
• Strong clinical experience caring for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic patients
• Ability to float to ICU, CCU, or Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Emergency Department triage experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, patient-focused team
• Professional navy or black scrubs required

Emergency Department Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide timely, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients across a broad range of acuity levels
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively to rapidly changing conditions
• Care for patients presenting with cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic, and traumatic conditions
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and communicate changes to the care team
• Support emergency interventions and coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Apply sound clinical judgment during emergency triage, reassessment, stabilization, and discharge processes
• Accurately document patient care and outcomes in Meditech
• Float to ICU, CCU, or Medical-Surgical units when needed to support patient care operations
• Promote a respectful, family-oriented environment focused on patient safety, teamwork, and positive patient experiences
