Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370

• Call: No on-call requirement

Emergency Room Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Kansas
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room or emergency department nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
• Ability to float to units within the scope of practice
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Travel ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
• Perform focused patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses
• Prioritize care and respond efficiently to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced emergency department
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established clinical standards
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate timely patient care
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care
• Float to other appropriate units as needed while practicing within established competencies
