Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820–$1,910
- Location: Springdale, Arkansas

LTAC Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of bedside clinical experience highly desired
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before the first shift
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to the first shift for CIRH
- Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
LTAC Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor patient conditions, identify changes in status, and promptly communicate pertinent information to providers and nursing leadership
- Support patient rehabilitation goals through education, encouragement, and coordinated interdisciplinary care
- Participate in initial and ongoing care conferences, providing accurate and timely patient updates
- Initiate discharge planning upon admission and provide patient and family education in preparation for transition of care
- Delegate appropriately and provide direction, training, and supervision to nursing support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, patient responses, and outcomes
- Promote a safe patient-care environment by following clinical policies, infection prevention practices, and safe handling procedures
- Prioritize assignments, manage time effectively, maintain necessary supplies, and contribute to efficient unit operations
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after completing orientation, as requested
- Pursue ongoing professional development and perform additional nursing duties as needed
