Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Nebraska
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an Operating Room or perioperative nursing setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work onsite in an acute-care surgical environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Ability to document accurately in an electronic medical record; EPIC experience is preferred

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative experience
• Prepare operating rooms, supplies, equipment, and patients for surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical care team
• Maintain strict adherence to surgical asepsis, infection-prevention standards, and patient-safety protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Assist with surgical counts, specimen handling, medication administration, and accurate clinical documentation
• Support efficient operating room turnover and contribute to a positive, professional surgical environment
