Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Show Low, Arizona
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Time: 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care emergency department
• Patient Volume: Approximately 100 patients per day
• Department Features: 30 private emergency rooms, a six-bed observation unit, six fast-track beds, a seclusion room, and five additional monitored rooms

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arizona
• At least 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Previous emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• TNCC certification
• Ability to provide safe, efficient nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting

Travel ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to trauma, cardiac, neurological, and other acute-care patients
• Monitor patient status, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely using established protocols
• Collaborate with providers, technicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate timely patient care
• Provide care across emergency, observation, fast-track, and monitored treatment areas as assigned
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
