- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

- Department: 12-bed Emergency Department
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 4:1
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs preferred; attire may not display competitor emblems
Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Current Registered Nurse license eligible to practice in Texas
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Current ENPC or PALS certification
- Current CPI and TNCC certifications
- Strong clinical knowledge of neurological and cardiac emergencies
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and responsive in a high-energy, fast-paced emergency care environment
Emergency Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan and varying levels of acuity.
- Assess, triage, monitor, and reassess patients while coordinating timely emergency interventions.
- Care for patients experiencing STEMI, stroke, and other time-sensitive emergencies, including participation in TPA protocols.
- Assist with rapid sequence intubation and other emergency procedures within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, emergency technicians, and support staff to promote safe, efficient patient flow.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
- Deliver compassionate patient care while following emergency department policies, safety standards, and infection prevention practices.
